Nutella Breakfast treat

Today I had my good friends over for brunch and since one of them loves Nutella I decided to make these Nutella Roll-ups that I saw on Foodgawker from the Diethood blog. 

They were super delicious!!

This is how we made them:

First we cut up the edges from the toasts.

Then we rolled the toasts flat with a rolling pen. Side note: I don’t think is mandatory, maybe it would be enough to just flatten them a little bit to make the rolling easier. I liked the ones that were not that flat, they were nice and fluffy :)

Next we spread some Nutella on the toasts…

…and then we rolled them up and dipped them in a egg-milk-vanilla extract mixture (like you would do with french toast) ! :)

and then we baked them on a frying pan with butter!

Finally top it off with vanilla sugar or powder sugar and enjoy! :)

Side note: Next time I will sprinkle some cinnamon on top as well. I think it would go well with this.
