Finnish Cheese Dessert

Making a dessert doesn’t get much easier than this! You will need three ingredients making this dessert and fresh berries or jam to adding a little twist in it. The main ingredient for this is a traditional Finnish cheese called “bread cheese” or “Finnish squeaky cheese” same that Anne was using in one of her recipes earlier. The traditional way is to serve the cheese with cloudberry jam. In this recipe that I have learned from my mother you add a nice little fudge flavour to it. This is one of my favourite quick desserts since it is super delicious and easy to make.

This is what you will need:

200g Bread Cheese

3 dl Cream

~ 4 tbsp Brown Sugar

1. Dice the cheese.

2. Pour the cream and sugar in to a baking dish. Mix and add the cheese.

3. Bake in 175°C/350 °F for ~ 30 minutes. The cheese is suppose to be little bit melted and the cream bubbling and brown.

4. This is best when served with cloudberries, strawberries or raspberries but you can also serve it with your favourite jam.
