Breakfast idea: Milk Rice and Fresh Juice

This is one of the easiest breakfasts to make. If you know you are in a hurry in the morning and you don’t have time to cook breakfast you can get this ready the nigh before! Great thing is that you can add your favourite toppings with the dish: cinnamon, berries, maple syrup or what ever makes your favourite breakfast! I love to eat the milk rice at breakfast with some freshly squeezed juice.

This is what you need for the milk rice:

1 litre Whole Milk

1,3 dl Short Grain Rice

1 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Butter

1. Pre-heat the oven to 130 °C/ 260 °F.

2. Pour all the ingredients in an oven pot and pop the pot in the oven.

3. Let it bake for approximately 2-3 hours, until the rise has absorbed all the milk.

Serve warm with your favourite toppings. You can use maple syrup, berries, brown sugar, jam, sugar, cinnamon, butter…
